The new head assembly will allow you to turn your

qdt or qdt v2 into a leg stopper qdt v2 

recon or recon v2 as well as no name v2 into a v2 series leg stopper 

The leg stopper is a built in feature that does not allow your legs to cross when transporting or closing the tripod 

With this head assembly it does NOT feature a removable 75mm bowl as the qdt or recon so it will turn your tripod into a v2 series tripod

Simply remove your old center section and attach the new center to stop your tripods legs from crossing
