Meade Eyepiece Holder 1.25 Inch - For attaching 1.25 Imagers to Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes

This simple adapter lets you use 1.25-inch eyepieces with your LX series telescope, bypassing the diagonal. It's threaded to fit onto the visual back of a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, making it an easy mount.

The 1.25" eyepiece holder, also known as a "visual back", screws onto the 2" rear cell threads of Schmidt-Cassegrain or Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes. A 1.25" eyepiece will fit directly into this visual back, allowing direct observations at the Cassegrain focus.

Once the eyepiece holder is in place, astronomical accessories with 1.25" barrels, such as Basic Camera Adapters, Tele-Extenders, etc., slide into the other end, allowing the user to do astrophotography with their film or digital SLR camera and the proper T-ring.
